Reliable Message Delivery for Greater Flexibility
In today’s digital world, fast and secure communication is key. The GITRIX system offers advanced integration with SMS gateways for system notifications directly to users’ mobile phones. We intentionally do not use SMS for login verification, which we recommend handling with more secure methods.
Key Features of the Integration
-
Easy Management via GUI The system administrator has an intuitive graphical interface at their disposal, allowing easy configuration of connection parameters to the SMS gateway without the need to edit configuration files or write scripts.
-
Wide Range of Protocols and Gateways We support a variety of standard and proprietary protocols, ensuring compatibility with most commonly used SMS gateways on the market. Tested and supported gateways include:
- Any EMAIL-TO-SMS gateway (tested on SMSEagle MHD-8100 4G)
- T-Mobile OMNI
- T-Mobile AWEG/HTTP
- HWg-SSM-GW3
- SMSManager.cz
- Dinstar UC2000-VE Business
-
Versatile Use Currently, the SMS gateway is used primarily as one of the options for PIN code resets. For security reasons, however, we recommend using alternatives such as one-time recovery codes, and this feature can be completely disabled in the system. The SMS gateway is not used in the GITRIX system for user login verification, as we do not consider this method sufficiently secure compared to our certificate or mobile application technology. However, the system architecture is designed so that the SMS gateway can easily be used for other purposes in the future, such as certificate expiration notifications.
With SMS gateway integration, you gain the assurance that critical information reaches users on time and through a secure path.
Key Features
GUI Configuration
Easy management and gateway setup directly in the administrator interface.
Multi-Gateway Support
We support a wide range of protocols from EMAIL-TO-SMS to dedicated hardware gateways.
Future Extensibility
The architecture allows utilizing the SMS channel for any future system notifications.
