What GITRIX PIN Cache can do
- Temporarily stores (caches) the signing PIN only in RAM and in an encrypted form.
- Can recognize and handle the following PIN entry prompts:
- SafeNet Authentication Client (PKCS#11)
- Windows Minidriver (Smart Card/CSP) — e.g., Adobe Acrobat Reader, MS Office, etc.
- If the PIN is stored, simply press Enter in the dialog, and the PIN will be inserted for you and used.
- If the PIN is not stored, you enter it into the GITRIX window, and it will be saved according to your rules (settings).
- Each successful use of the PIN extends its validity (rolling expiration).
- The PIN is removed from memory upon application/system lock, logout, shutdown, or expiration.
